Cautery tip cleaner is made from polyurethane foam with silicon dioxide surface, adhesive back and a Barium line.
The silicon dioxide surface is abrasive. So it can eliminate burnt tissue and debris from the instrument tip effectively. The blue polyurethane foam is with a barium line on its back. Barium line is radiopaque. The adhesive back allows it to be placed in a convenient place.

2. Attach the cautery tip cleaner on medical sheet or surgical gown or other convenient place.

Electrosurgical blades, pencil tips, mono-polar probes, bi-polar probes etc.
Cautery tip cleaners are not intended to be placed within the patient, but are often placed on drapes near the surgical site. Special care should be taken when a cautery tip cleaner which resembles a cotton swab as this may absorb blood, could be mistaken for a swab and inadvertently left in the operative cavity. This would be a significant problem if it is not radio-opaque.
